With the guidance of working professionals with its history-proven techniques & methods, the PORTFOLIO workshop series are not ordinary textbook courses; it is a fun & interactive learning environment for us to nurture, grow & share our vision with each other.
Based on the roots of traditional photography, delivered with the latest interpretation of digital technology & development, instructors are carefully chosen to deliver the best possible knowledge on carefully chosen subjects:
- Essential basics of Photography: Framing, focusing, exposure, etc.
- How to see: Composition, depth-of-field, perspective, visual geometry, selective techniques, etc.
- How to interact with people, dealing with real-life situation
- From photo-print: A to Z of how to transfer files, process them for sharing on the web, print, digital slideshow
- Backup/archiving strategy: creating photo library, maintaining integrity, avoiding file lost, etc.
- How to build a portfolio & review
Our Programmes
The SnapCamp™ Series
The SnapCamp is a 3-day special workshop for beginners & photo enthusiast where you will explore practical tips & techniques that will instill you with confidence and give you the ability to produce dynamic images.
- age group : 14-18, 18-22, 22-28, 28-35
- No. of attendees : 12-24
- Location : Outdoor location with natural settings, accomodation/transport included.
Regular workshop
Bespoke workshops are available for private sessions (1-2 person), or a group of 4 or more attendees (day or night classes). Stretching for 6 sessions over the course of 2-weeks (three-times weekly, 2.5hr/session). Timing & schedule arrangements are configured according to each group’s need. This ensure that those who have non-regular schedules also can benefit from our flexible schedules.
Specialty workshop
Following the Regular/SnapCamp series, you can progress into specialized field to further develop and enhance your photography skills, currently offered are the following:
- Advanced Digital Technique: RAW Development technique & Retouching
- Digital Black & White and Fine art printing
- Creative Lighting for location shooting
