Going a lit­tle polit­i­cal this morn­ing, here’s an inter­est­ing con­ver­sa­tion between Sri Mulyani and Charlie Rose, of which the fun part begins in the 23:00 minute mark:

Rose: “What intesti­nal strength that you have to rely on to make the deci­sions you did?“ SMI: “You love the coun­try so much, and you believe that you can build some­thing good.”

Independent vot­ers, aca­d­e­mics, cre­ative folks; peo­ple who are the out­casts of the Indonesian polit­i­cal sys­tem, is round­ing up sup­port for the for­mer Finance Minister of Indonesia, Sri Mulyani — cur­rently one of the Managing Directors for the World Bank — to run for Presidency in 2014.

In a thirty minute inter­view with Charlie Rose, she revealed why she’s more than just a sym­bol of hope for Indonesia, but Indonesia’s gift for the emerg­ing nations of the world.
