What’s in a picture?

A picture’s worth a thousand words. Behind gifted eyes, is a vision, a gentle whisper from the heart, an artist’s soul. Like the deafening silence in a vibrant dream,

…every picture tells a story with a different point of view.

If you’ve attended any of my class, it’s no secret that this is my tool of choice. I’d expect it to be released in June during the WWDC, but look who’s finally come to the show.

A slew of new features, among them will be the Brushes (Nondestructive brush, edge detection & support for pressure sensitive tablets) & Adjustment Presets (Apply from Import, one click, custom settings — see video) that photographers have been crying for since day 1.

The biggest not-so-secret secret is 64-bit support:

64-Bit Support (requires Snow Leopard and Intel Core 2 Duo processor) With Snow Leopard, the Mac can support up to 16 terabytes of memory, and 64-bit applications like Aperture 3 can take advantage of this larger memory capacity.

Download the free trial now, read the tech specs, or see the action video.

Update: Macworld’s Jason Snell has posted an update note. For those who are as curious as me, Faces data from iPhoto can be imported (thanks @Jason!).
